Are you a keen walker, looking for a good time with friends and interested in making an impact? Join us at our upcoming Walkathon and raise money for toys that will be donated to paediatric patients in Melbourne!
About our Mission 💖
We're Feel Every Beat, a youth-led nonprofit organisation that helps children and families affected by heart disease. This Walkathon is aimed to promote healthy habits and make an impact for our beneficiaries.
Event details:
⏰☀️ Sunday June 28th, 9am-11:30am
🏁 Track is around The Tan - around the Botanical Gardens!
💌 $6 entry fee (paid by participant)
🧊🍉 Free prizes, food and water will be provided!
🥳 Participant nominee donates $1/per 100m covered
🎇 ALL profits will be used towards supplying toys for paediatric patients 💗
💼 To bring:
🥤 While water will be provided, participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own water bottles!
🩰 An available friend
🎽 Wear athletic appropriate clothing!
🩺 Asthma puffer and/or other assistive equipment to maintain your safety
How will it work?
- Arrive 5-10 mins before 9am to settle in and socialise! We will start walking at 9:10am
- Every 100m you walk, the Sponsor you nominate should donate $1 or more ~
- The walk will end at 11am where the Water and Food Station will be located
- Throughout the event, prizes will be given at random!
- Volunteering hours will be given to Participants and volunteers accordingly post- event! To claim, email feeleverybeatmw@gmail.com to receive.
‼️ Both Participants and Sponsors MUST DOWNLOAD/HAVE WHATSAPP for COMMUNICATION! 📲
